The Meter Monitor data acquisition software
package displays data from the networked meters. Displays can be customized
to show data in virtually any format you need. The Meter Monitor
automatically
collects, sorts, graphs and publishes meter data for energy management or
any other meter monitoring needs. The meter data are stored in the MySQL
database, enabling a user to easily generate periodic usage reports,
billings, compiled data comparisons and other. The Meter Monitor software
package couples the powerful database platform, MySQL, with the user
friendly settable interface including drop-down selection lists for
building meter stations.

The Meter Monitor can access meters via old-fashioned modem connections. Thus, if you have a legacy system,
the Meter Monitor can help you to network those meters and automatically
acquire and store data from them. However, the Meter
Monitor does not stop there. You can also network your meters
through the LAN, or for that matter, you can have a part of your meters
networked via modems and a part accessed through the LAN. The
Meter Monitor is completely configurable to support any network
configuration you might be having.

Whether it is steam, gas, hot/chilled liquid, water,
temperature compensated liquid or other meter type, the Meter Monitor software package
collects, stores, processes and displays the data in a user friendly way.
Meter Monitor displays historical data in various graphical formats to
suit your needs. Scales and periods can be adjusted to accomplish tasks
for various meter data monitoring, like energy
monitoring or conservation projects. Graphics can be used as maintenance
tools and to monitor meter data including monitoring of energy losses and
savings.

Accessing meters through the LAN enables
the Meter Monitor to display the data in real-time. The Meter
Monitor attempts to update the real-time window as often as every
second. The real-time data are not stored into the database.
If you have any questions about the real-time or any other feature of
the Meter Monitor data acquisition software, please do not hesitate to contact us.

The Meter Monitor software package
includes the Server and Client programs. The Meter Monitor Server program collects,
stores and displays meter data. The Meter Monitor Client program enables
other engineers connected to Internet to display and analyze the meter
data collected and saved by the Server. In may help a facility
manager to monitor the meters while on the road. There is no practical limit in
number of clients connected to one server.

The Meter Monitor is configurable to
acquire data from any meter that supports the Modbus RTU
protocol. The configuration is done in multiple steps and
typically does not take more than 10 minutes. Once configured, a new
device type is stored into the database and is used to communicate with
any number of meters of that type. There is no practical limit in number
of device types that can be configured.

In addition to being able to poll data from
meters which support the Modbus RTU protocol, the Meter
Monitor currently can interface with the following flow meters and
data loggers:
