Supporting functionality – Server:
Consists of a web server connected to a relational database. A large set of html and phtml (php scripting pages) navigates a client through the telediagnostics process. The server can be accessed through any web browser. All data transactions are stored in the database for additional analysis, comparing and educational purposes.

Supporting functionality – Teleconsulting Workstation:
Enables the user to prepare the patient/case data for remote diagnostics in a user-friendly environment. The application imports digital image data from appropriate acquisition devices (digital cameras, microscopes, stethoscopes, blood pressure measurement equipment etc.) and combine them in to a form with additional data. Multimedia support tools enable additional on-line consultation between physicians.
